I had been employed in a brokerage firm as an internal auditor for 10 months. In the context of implementing internal audit, I have also worked in the positions of back office and dealing room in order to deepen my knowledge and better understand the subject.

Regarding the internal audit:

• Providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure that the company adheres to compliance standards and internal policies to outsourcing partners.
• Reconciliation of accounts, ensuring that all transactions, deposits and withdrawals are accurately recorded and reflected in customer accounts.
• Monitoring of calls and complaints.
• Monitoring agents (third party partners who guided customers) and communicated with them via emails, in order to comply them with the policies of our company.

Regarding the back office:

• Processing customer payments and checking the transactions

Regarding the dealing room (Full coverage of the position):

• Receiving and transmitting client orders for stock market or derivatives market.
• Continuous clients updates regarding their portfolio.
• Finalization procedure after the close of the stock market in order to inform clients of the purchases and sales they had made during the day.
