Research Engineer/ Machine Learning The aim of this project was to develop a computational framework which will provide critical biological insights into the mechanism driving bone development and allow the exploration to hypothesis development process by the end user/ and generate hypothesis leading to further experimental investigation.

• Define efficient machine learning models and design approaches for different biological challenges.

• Exploratory data analysis and preprocessing of high- throughput data, including transcriptomics, genomics and single cell RNA-Seq data. Cleansing techniques to ensure high-quality datasets for model training and testing.

• Develop, train and fine tune selected models using R and python and other relevant tools and technologies. • Develop and implement mechanism for benchmarking and model evaluation.

• Transform data into biological insights using machine learning methods and support hypothesis driven exploration.

• Regular technical presentations to diverse stakeholders.

Research in the context of Inspector project and Integrated Informatics platform for mass spectrometry based protein assays. The goal of this project was to create in-silico tools that would predict the behavior of the peptides a priori based on sequence information.
• Development of data mining, machine learning, inference and search algorithms based on challenges inspired by experimental computational biology. Performed methods such as feature extraction, time series prediction and decision trees algorithms.
• Analyze/ Validate/ Optimize the performance of these techniques both theoretically and experimentally.
• Closely interact and collaborate with the consortium partners of the Inspector project.

• Real Time Analysis and implementation of a graphical interface (GUI).
• Preparation of technical talk describing the key points and the obstacles of the project for knowledge transfer.
• I have worked with Texas Instruments Digital Audio Broadcast marketing team liaising with TI’S DAB costumers that are developing DAB radios and Hi-Fi systems regarding improvements to be made to their products before released to market. I was involved in the design and implementation of Tests.
