- Company Overview: The main responsibility of the department is the installation, integration and support of GSM and UMTS mobile telephony networks in Greece, Cyprus, Albania and Malta
- During this period, I have attended many technical seminars related with Ericsson products (BSC, MSC, HLR, IOG, DXX, SGSN, GGSN, IMS) as well as generic technical seminars (Data communications, IP, ATM, Unix, Solaris Administration, C7 signaling, GPRS, WCDMA, Erlang programming)
- I have also attended project management seminars (PROPS) and also communication and leadership seminars
- The main projects I have been involved with during my work in Ericsson Hellas, are the following:
- Installations of AXE-10 mobile telephony exchanges (BSC, MSC, HLR), acting as installation and integration tester, installation supervisor and acceptance test representative (April 1996-July 1998)
- Verification tester, delivery preparation, customer demonstration and rollout of AXE-10 (BSC, MSC, HLR) major software upgrade releases and software correction packages for our local customers Vodafone Greece, TIM Hellas and Cyta (April 1996-May 2000)
- GPRS Network Verification tester in Ericsson Eurolab Deutschland (June 2000-September 2000)
- GPRS Network Verification tester for Vodafone's GPRS network and Technical Project Leader for GPRS network software upgrade (October 2000-March 2001)
- GPRS support engineer for Vodafone's GPRS network (April 2001-March 2002)
- Team leader at the Packet Core & IP network team (Customer support & Integration department), which is responsible for the packet transmission systems (SGSN, GGSN, DXX, SDH, IP routers, IMS) for the operators in Greece and Cyprus (April 2002-November 2007)
