With over 20 years in Greek Evangelical Church, I've pioneered the Greek-Worship-Network, mentoring and training young musicians with special focus on church planting efforts. My songwriting and leadership development has significantly contributed to interdenominational worship in Greece, aiming to reach the non church goers by expanding the presence of worship ministers.
I started leading worship when I was 18 years old in my local church in Athens Greece as a lay worship leader. I have been writing Greek worship songs since then for my church, which has also been used by other churches. During the past 20 years, I also had the joy to lead worship at Christian conferences, student ministry events, worship events, etc. During my college years, I was involved with student ministry as team leader and I have also worked with serving unaccompanied refugee minors for four years. The last 10 years, my family and I have participated in church planting efforts in Athens and 7 years ago we joined Kypseli Church. About five years ago my pastor and I discussed the idea of establishing a worship network in Athens that can reach out to musicians and lay worship leaders in Greece and support churches through the worship ministry. I have been leading this effort the last four years, working closely with younger musicians and worship leaders, providing training and mentorship in the wider Evangelical family. I am currently the only full-time worship leader in Greece, hoping to see many more worship ministers serving churches in the future, so that the whole body will benefit and be more welcoming to newcomers!
