Dimitris Mitropoulos

My name is Dimitris Mitropoulos, I'm 23 years old and I live in Athens, Greece. Back when I was in high school, I heard about Bitcoin and the innovative world of cryptocurrencies so I started reading them. When I finished high school, I started to study Mechanical Engineering, as my passion everything that has to do with internal combustion engines. In 2020 covid and quarantine knocked our doors, so I was unable to find a job as an engineer. So I started experimenting with crypto. Although I had years of reading them and trying to understand their use, up until then I had very little interaction with them. After one and a half year dealing with them, I started my first project. And it went unexpectedly well. It gained the traction of one of the biggest blockchains in crypto (Polkadot) and it soon became the number one platform build on top of it. With such confidence, me and my team started envisioning our biggest project so far , Kawa.Finance and it's innovative architecture. Around that time, I also started working at Chaintroopers. a Cybersecurity firm focused on smart contract auditing etc in Business Development and Sales.

My favorite hobby is playing football. Except the fact that as a kid, I wanted to be a professional player ( who didn't), I've been playing football since I remember myself as a little kid. I like gymnastics in general. Count me in for everything that has to do with it. Sometimes I play video games too, but nothing more than a casual gamer.
