  • Part of the Greek team of HELIOS EU ( Handicapped Europeans Living Together in an Open Society) worked to accumulate and incoorporate good practices for the inclusion in the workforce and equal participation. Being part of the design team ofsuch actions and programs.
  • being part of the Application and proposal syntax team for financing various EU programs actions towards the vulnerable groups of population either in education or employability ( Delors 2 and Social Inclusion Packages). Financial and implementation follow up.
  • Supervisor of the Boarding Council Secretariat. Coordinate the actions for the daily operation. Cooperate with various directorates and departments in order to prepare their proposals to the council and foolproof their legality and coherence. Facilitate the implementation of the councils decisions.

As intern I supported staff members to to Job placment assessment and follow up of the clients in order to secure their placements and integration ( ex convicts and offenders). That meant organize their intake procedure and and coplete their follow up plan actions.


- Arts of Living Instyitute, Chicago Ill

As inter I helped the team to reduce the workload burden. I was carrying my own cases of clients for private consulting and hold group sessions . Clients consisted of pregnant early teens of various ethnicities but with from low income families , mainly consisting of one parent. The focal point was to help them remain at school and also learn how to responsible take care of their children. Part of my work was being part of the intake procedure and evaluation team.

The opening of the daily center for functional elder people demanded a strong hold of logistics , pr and motivation techniques in order to educate people to participate to something new to the rural area. part of the role was to help the team of various professionals to learn how to cooperate together. The center provided health services to a great extend, "help at home"and active socialization through the various activities it offered. It was a community targeted work as much as client targeted work of a social worker.
