• Collaborated with colleagues in design process to develop River Basin Management Plans [RBMPs] for the River Basin Districts of Attica, Eastern Central Greece and Central Macedonia. [2nd Revision of the River Basin Management Plans of the Attica (EL06) and Eastern Central Greece (EL07) Water Districts, 2nd Revision of the River Basin Management Plan of the Central Macedonia Water District (EL10)]
• Performed analytical calculations and developed algorithms [Matlab] for the preparation and drafting of a Revised Strategic Plan for Water Scarcity and Drought Phenomena for the Water District of Central Macedonia.
• Performed comprehensive hydrologic studies [HEC-HMS] to support the planning and design of 1st Revision of the Flood Risk Management Plans of the Attica (EL06), Eastern Central Greece (EL07) and Aegean Islands (EL14) Water Districts based on the requirements of Directive 2007/60/EC.
• Developed 1D, 2D and 1D/2D river hydraulic models [EL14] for floodplain mapping for the Aegean Islands [EL14] Water District
• Developed GIS algorithms for Vulnerability, Hazard and Flood RISK estimation [QGIS]

• Application of the CORMIX model to simulate the behavior of the Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) plumes that are released into the water column during dredging for the installation of the EAST-MED POSEIDON Natural Gas Pipeline, [calculations in 4 investigation areas that included two flow conditions for the minimum and maximum flow velocities and 32 sensitivity analysis scenarios to investigate the effect of current velocity near the bottom and the composition of sediments].
• Design of Flood Retention Ponds at River Aracthos, based on international standards and specifications found in the international literature;
• Performed hydrodynamic calculations using the Hydrologic Engineering Center's-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) 1D/2D with and without the Flood Retention Ponds.
• Validation of flood inundation mitigation from Flood Retention Ponds and calculation of hydrodynamic forces on bridge abutments [Bridge of Arta].
• 3D Hydraulic modelling and optimization of the control system and monitoring of the hydraulic behavior of the dry season diversion project to the Combined Sewer Overflow Conduit and water quality in the Prophet Daniel stream
• Design and optimization of 1D/2D hydraulic modell [HEC-RAS] for the disastrous flash flood at Mandra along with creation of surface from land surveying drawings [Civil 3D]
• Design and optimization of 1D/2D hydraulic modell for flood scenarios under climate change conditions after fire at Marathonas river and designed and implemented Nature - Based Solutions for flood risk mitigation.
