  • Joined a small family Shipping Company of 2 Bulkers and 2 Tankers as a head of the technical department until the owners decided to start selling their vessels remaining with one last now.

  • Took over as a Fleet Manager of the newly implemented fleet of Bulk Carriers from a traditional Car Carrier Company
  • At the same time, I took responsibility for the installation of SCRUBBERS for the Car Carrier fleet for the subject company. Responsible to study and implement all prospective scrubber maker offers until the commissioning onboard. Evaluated the offers from fifteen (15) suppliers, finalizing and negotiating until selecting the most efficient offer, then taking this right through to finalize the engineering part with a consultancy office.
  • Submitted the study and the appropriate drawings to several shipyards for the installation of the selected scrubber, as well as communicating with the class for the relevant approvals. These projects were completed successfully last February 2020, in Varna shipyard Bulgaria.

  • Provided final written reports as required, detailing in service repairs, dry-docking repairs and surveys, including costs incurred. Recommended changes to the planned maintenance system, based on observations of machinery and equipment worked on during the docking.
