Ioannis Ntroukas is the Executive Director of Projects Division at EDA Attikis (Attikis Natural Gas Distribution Company).
Ioannis has over 20 years’ experience in the Downstream Oil & Gas Sector During the period 2002- 2016, he worked for EPA Attikis SA (Attiki Gas Supply Company), holding successively the positions of Technical Customer Service Specialist, B2B Technical Support Supervisor, Technical Support & Internal Installation Projects Supervisor, Technical Customer Support Manager
Since 2017 till now, following the successful split of EPA Attiki in 2016 in two companies for Supply and Distribution respectively, he undertook the positions of Low-Pressure Operation & Maintenance Manager, Asset Development Manager at EDA Attikis S.A and Since 2021 Ioannis is the Executive Director of Projects Division at EDA Attikis S.A During the above period of time, we successfully managed the management of changes in the organization while proceeding seamlessly with the implementation of the company's investment plan for each year. Successfully completed changes to company processes dictated by ongoing changes while optimizing distribution network expansion project selection methodology aiming at optimizing DSO revenue, improving customer’s penetration over the distribution network, digitalizing and upgrading the distribution network equipment and installations in terms of sustainability and social responsibility.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree, (MSc) in Gas Engineering, Salford University, UK and a Master of Business Administration, (MBA) International, Athens University of Economics and Business. He is EUR ING Engineer, Member of European Federation of National Engineers Associations (FEANI) and Chartered Engineer Engineering Council UK, No: 569705). He is Corporate Member of Institution of Gas Engineer and Manager UK, Membership No: 145254.
Projects Division planning, engineering, and implementation of the natural gas distribution system asset development, ensuring the uninterrupted natural gas distribution for the users of the distribution network and the final consumers, safely and efficiently. Successfully managing the management of changes in the organization while proceeding seamlessly with the implementation of the company's investment plan for each year. Furthermore, preparing the distribution system’s engineering and investments development plan aiming at optimizing DSO revenue, improving customer’s penetration over the distribution network, digitalizing and upgrading the equipment and installations in terms of sustainability and social responsibility.
