As a senior member of the Technical Operations team, my primary responsibility is to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of the company’s core product (OGS). This involves:

From the outset, I navigated the challenges of working in a multinational, multiregional, and multicultural team distributed globally. This experience enhanced my adaptability and collaboration skills, critical in a complex operational landscape.

Working within a large-scale operation across multiple technical departments and aligning with ITIL practices has allowed me to focus deeply on application engineering. My approach centers on in-depth issue analysis to deliver robust, long-term solutions.

One particular challenge has been executing detailed, step-by-step task prescriptions on both Stage and Production Systems. Following ITIL best practices, I ensure all actions comply with the stringent regulations of gambling markets.

Lastly, I’m proud to have received full-performance evaluations for three consecutive years, reflecting my dedication and effectiveness in this role.

• New Deployments: Built new deployments from the ground up, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

- My first step at MassiveGRID was as a Support Engineer. During a typical shift, the duties were monitoring critical cloud infrastructures, serving clients' tickets, and working on day-to-day tasks.

- Fast and in parallel with company growth I was trusted with the leadership of the support team. As Support Team Leader Working on organizing the operation of the department, creating procedures, and solving advanced issues.

- Completing the required procedures and flows for the support team earned me time to work on more engineering-oriented tasks and improve my System Administrator skills.

Worked on:

• Setup Proxmox/CEPH Cluster from scratch at NY2-Equinix Datacenter building a Private Cloud Infrastructure.
• Building a multi-region Jelastic Cluster.
• Automating the procedure for adding new Nodes for expanding clusters.
• Automated adding and removing of firewall rules for clients to grand temporary access from current IP to parts of the infrastructure needed.
• Automated backup routines and files rotation for fully unattended backup flows.
• Scripted detailed report for Proxmox VMs' used and allocated resources helping in a more efficient rebalance of clusters' load.
• Install, configure and secure Hosting Servers (cPanel, Plesk, LAMP)
• Built monitoring Systems (Nagios & Zabbix) for over 200 servers and network appliances, including the creation of custom monitoring scripts.
• Design and implementation of a 200 APs corporate network for private office spaces and public amenities areas. (Key technologies used Cloud Control Panels, Dynamic VLAN assignment, WPA Enterprise Authentication, BGP Protocol, Authentications via Windows Active Directory & Windows NPS).

Coordinated:

• New infrastructures Build and old Infrastructures Decommission (including migration of services for hundreds of clients).

- Getting more experienced in solving advanced issues I started working on small Engineering projects and when the opportunity came along I took over the Engineers Team Leader position. After a long period of Educating and Training Engineers in a more self-managed way, we managed to operate oriented on projects and not on tasks.

- The last year I was mainly focused on Technical Solutions Architecting and running Big Infrastructure Projects. Nowadays my job as Engineers Team Leader is more consulting and less managing.

Worked mostly on SOHO installations.

• Designed and implemented new offices for up to 20 users.
• Provided support and improvements to companies with existing installations of up to 50 users.
• Mostly worked on LAN & WLAN installations and build custom servers for hosting services like File Servers, ERP Servers & Mailers.

Also, designed and implemented WAN coverage for public areas (hotels, restaurants & open spaces) up to 300 guests.

• On the IT part of the job worked on supporting the company's network end to end. (70 users, over a dozen of printers & 20 bare metal servers).
• From 2008 - 2010 handled all expansions and additions on servers, network equipment & services. Maintained and set up servers like mailers, firewalls, ERP Servers, File Servers, Antivirus Servers.
• In 2010 designed H/W renewal and planned migration of all services to a Virtualization Platform.
• In the period 2010 - 2012, I also worked on providing 1st level support to industrial wide format digital printers.

Designed from scratch the network of a small military camp.

• Working with a limited budget and special security requirements.
• Created a private network for sharing internal services like File Server and eMail Server.
• Used new & refurbished hardware in order to purchase all required H/W for networking and Services hosting and also to replace all outdated workstations within the given budget.
• After implementing the above services & the network security hardening we managed to simplify procedures and workflows.
  

Also, participated in the installation of Satellite Links and Medical Equipment setup for patients' remote monitoring via mobile networks.

Improved sales abilities and product knowledge on continuous basis to provide optimal service and achieve quotas.

Integrated logistic systems into company processes to improve operations and manage work orders and price changes.

Alternated goods in inventory by observing first-in and first-out approach to keep shelves organized and properly stocked.
