Isabella Chavezová

I grew up in a bilingual household (English, Czech) and lived in many places throughout my childhood. In result, I have maintained a flexible and open-minded personality. Thus, I do not mind new environments and can adapt to other people's needs. I have an inextinguishable passion for reading, writing and philosophy, therefore I am currently doing my Bachelor of Arts English Studies and Philosophy at the University of Stirling. During my studies in Prague I worked for two years as a private English tutor, which I found very enjoyable. In addition, I have done various volunteering throughout the years, such as working in a hospital in Prague or preparing food for the homeless. I acquired my secondary school diploma in 2020 with the highest grades from Humanities, Visual Arts, English Language and Czech Language. I am also a certified proof-reader and make-up artist.

I have always been curious about the fundamentals: life-purpose, death, meaning, morality and so on. As a result I enjoy reading and writing philosophy - I particularly enjoy the work of Albert Camus, Carl Jung and Allen Watts. I am very attracted to the visual arts and do practise painting and other art's and crafts in my free time, this includes: watercolors, oil-painting, make-up artistry and jewelry making. Whenever I travel I make sure to visit the art galleries first. I used to take singing lessons and represented my school in various singing contests, despite my joy for music still lingers. I currently play volleyball at the university, as well as swimming and personal training.
