- PR &, , responsible for all 70 brands that belong to Amvyx (i.e, Hendrick’s Gin, Glenfiddich whisky, Serkova & Belvedere vodkas, Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, Veuve Clicquot, Krug and Dom Perignon champagnes, Molson Coors portfolio of beers, Three Cents artisanal beverages among others) -Member of Amvyx Executive committee, reporting directly to the General Manager -Representative member of the Association of Alcoholic Beverages (www.apolafste.ypefthina.gr) -Leading the in-house PR & Communications department
- My role as a PR & Communications manager is to: - conceive, develop and organize all the communication strategies (consumer and media) for all Amvyx brands without the contribution of a dedicated PR agency - plan, develop and execute the PR strategy of all the Amvyx brands - plan, develop and execute Amvyx’s corporate responsibility program -plan, develop and execute the internal communications of Amvyx
- Implementing strategies regarding trade marketing activations -anticipate and handle crisis issues that may come up -create and maintain healthy media relations -manage the in-house press office overseeing the production of press releases, news articles and promotional videos -organize promotional events such as press conferences, exhibitions, press trips and visits -find and capitalize on sponsorship opportunities that can be linked with th Amvyx portfolio -handle the budget of the department, as well as, media budgets for specific brands -monitor competition -evaluate Communications performance -oversee the social media strategy of all Amvyx brands -manage and develop the members of the PR team -analyze and adapt new and upcoming trends in lifestyle
- Selected Achievements -Organized the in-house PR & Communications department of Amvyx S.A leading to a 30% cost cutting of the annual spending in PR services allowing the savings to be re-invested in image building activities
- For 14 consecutive years the return of investment to be almost 3 times over the annual budget spent
- Creation of a series of outstanding events (concept and implementation) that were many times awarded and became best practices for the Greek market (Moet & Chandon, Absolut, Hendricks’s, Aperol, Grant’s) and used as pilot events for the international PR teams of those specific brands
- Created a network of media and opinion leaders by providing unique and exciting content regarding Amvyx brands
- Succeeded in meeting and exceeding the KPI’s of the PR department for every year since the organization of the department
- For the last 8 consecutive years organizes and implements Amvyx’s participation in the biggest trade exhibition The bar Show
- For 2019 the department handled 74 PR activations (that means that the department carried out approximately 1.5 events every week)
