I am a young aspiring environmental engineer with a great interest in Renewable Energy Sources. In 2024, I conducted my Thesis with title '' A study of the Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI) in Athens and a comparison with Xanthi, with satellite data''. During my thesis work, I gained hands-on experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of Data, I used NASA's tool GIOVANNI and Google Earth Engine for satellite data processing and visualization. I also used Python scripts for chart generation and QGIS for geospatial and map based visualization of datasets. My grade was 8/10 .

As a part of my academic coursework, i prepared an Environmental Impact Assessment report focusing on establishment and operation of a livestock farming unit.

Moreover, i have completed a project for an energy efficient building using Sketch Up that involved: 3D modeling of a building using Sketch Up software, analysis of the building's energy performance and proposals for optimizing it's energy behavior and the application of bioclimatic design principles. When it comes to green buildings, I am also familiarized with Energy Performance Study preparation, since I conducted an energy performance study for an existing building, i accordance with the Greek Building Energy Efficiency Regulation (KENAK).

Lastly, my favorite assignment was the one that I designed a solar panel park with power of 9975 kWp. The skills i gained though this project included a layout design of PV panels t achieve optimal energy output, calculation of annual electricity production based on solar irradiance data and panel tilt angles, with the use of Python and lastly analysis of the electrical configuration, including invertors and distribution panels.

As an environmental engineer, passionate about technological advancement, I firmly believe that innovation should go hand in hand with environmental respect. My goal is to contribute to the development of solutions that promote sustainable growth by integrating green practices at every stage of technological project design and implementation.

I ran 5k's, my future goal is to achieve the original marathon.
