Job Duties at OASA e-Ticket Project are:
- Monitoring the performance/availability/reliability and capacity of the system using a variety of tools, such as IBM Tivoli (Backup&Recovery for AIX systems) / IBM V3700 Storage System / Virtualization Technology – IBM HMC {AIX virtual machines (LPARs), Vios server} / VMware vSphere Client.
- Network Monitoring tool with NMS-WhatsUpGold (e.g. Traffic Analysis - Packet Loss, Event Log, Server down situation, etc).
- System Administration & Monitoring VMs' for OASA, STASY, OSY, and TrainOSE.
- Identifying operational problems by studying the cause of the problem and resolving them or escalating, when needed.
- Updating network status to key stakeholders accordingly.
- Manage tickets (Atlassian Jira) in order to assure proper and timely resolution.
- Centralized UPS Remote Management for the Subsystems using PowerNETGuard.
- Health check after scheduled jobs in the nodes/Hosts that are monitored through relative platforms.
