
Juvenile Probation Officer
Conducts assessments of youths to determine the appropriate level of supervision and intervention programs to ensure each youth is afforded an opportunity for rehabilitation.
Meets adolescents and their families to perform assessments and research their family and social history.
Prepares and presents reports to the court
Maintains and updates case files on all delinquent youth .
Makes recommendations to the State Attorney’s Office within statutory time frames after the ongoing assessment of the youth.
Appears in court as required providing the necessary reports and information.
Ensures updated information is reflected in the Juvenile Justice Information System or other designated computer database information systems.
Attends trainings as required, maintains relationship with other Department of Juvenile Justice components and community agencies.
Supervises youths who have either been put on probation or parole for committing a crime
Works with adolescents and their families to assess and ensure compliance with court terms.
Provides counseling to the offender in an attempt to change or eliminate behavioral issues.
Is responsible to make sure that adolescents are in compliance with terms set by the juvenile court.
In the event that a youth does not comply with his or her court order provides recommendations to the judge for alternate sentencing or treatments.
Social Working with the community and individuals.
Conducts social researches.
Provides information to citizens about the social services within the municipality.
Μanaging programs for vulnerable groups.
Works with the Public Prosecutor to protect the rights of children in danger.
Implements social policies & programs.
Monitoring and supervising the comunnity service implementation,Supervising ex- prisoners they are working in the municipality in welfare work.
Networking and cooperation of volunteers.
