As business client advisor, my main task is via proactive approach to attract new middle size Business entities and maintain strong relationship with portfolio of 120 medium size companies.
My main duties are:
- Make financial analysis based on financial statements of companies, preparing business reports and proposals for Credit committee with strong arguments whether to finance or not businesses.
- Providing strategic advice to clients, leading them towards sustainable growth.
- Respond promptly to customer's needs and request for all banking services needed.
- Implementing effective cross-selling strategies to introduce complimentary services to existing customers, which drive to additional revenues.
- I took part in internal processes for improving efficiency in managing clients portfolios and delivering services.
- To train new employees and introduce them with the organization and the processes
I took part in various professional development training programs to continually refine skills related to client advising, time management, enhancing my presentation skills, industry knowledge and specifics concerning the banking sector.
As expert in bank that follows non-cash policy and self-servicing for its customers, my responsibilities included the following duties:
- Consulting, analyzing and managing customer portfolio of 800 private individual customers;
- Accepting and processing applications of different type of financing for Private individuals and Micro business customers in specific segment (up to 100 000 BGN), doing Financial analysis, preparing proposals and participating in conduct of Credit Committee;
- Holding presentations and meetings with partners and companies to attract new customers for the bank, and keep in contact with them on regular basis;
- Exploring new clients, organizing and leading meetings with them to achieve active use of the Bank’s products and services;
- Observing markets trends and competition in the town/region and in respective client category;
- Regular reporting to management about completed customer interactions for the week, detailed planning for a successful long-term customer relationship.
The position was focused mainly on attracting new business customers for the bank, with the same responsibilities as described above without fulfilling business analysis of the companies as in this period there was separation of the roles in the teams as Client advisers were responsible for attracting new customers and Credit experts were fulfilling the financial analysis.
In the following years, starting in 2012 there were structural changes in ProCredit Bank and the two positions were merged in one which was the main reason my next position in the bank to be Client adviser Private Individuals.
That was a transition period for my family, because for that time we used to live in Republic of Ireland for the period 2008-2011 and I had my first child delivered.
I became branch manager of a branch with history of problems, due to instability in the team and planned expansion of the bank in Pleven. My daily responsibilities include the following activities:
- Participating in the building of the business development strategy for the town and opening 2 new branches in the city;
- Making interviews with candidates for the new offices and choosing and training the newly hired staff;
- I was engaged in planning the branch budget and controlling on a monthly basis its realization in all segments;
- Observing, researching and discussing the business in the respective town, the market potential, the bank’s approach, business development ideas, etc.;
- Leading meetings with the branch respective employees, doing analysis of the branch’s budget and the reasons for its implementation;
- Realizing daily control and support to the bank's employees in the branch;
- Holding meetings with unsatisfied clients or clients which necessitate additional researching and reporting;
- Participating in credit committees (authorized to make decisions on credit deals with the respective limit for authorization);
Becoming a manager in a new city where the bank did not have a branch before entrusted with the project of opening and developing a brand new branch, my daily responsibilities included the following activities:
- Participating in the building of the business development strategy for the town and opening a new branch in the city;
- Making interviews with candidates for the new offices and choosing and training the newly hired staff;
- I was engaged in planning the branch budget and controlling on a monthly basis its realization in all segments;
- Researching the market potential in the city and adjusting the bank’s approach and provide business development ideas, etc.
