  • WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF SOUND IN SCENES OF EXTREME VIOLENCE IN STANLEY KUBRICK'S A CLOCKWORK ORANGE AND DR STRANGELOVE?, Extended Essay for the Award of the IBDP, Theodora Maria Adam, 2016, This project was one of the requirements to achieve the IBO Diploma. It consisted of 4,000 words and a comparative analysis of the effects of sound in scenes of extreme violence in pieces of work of the same director. The analysis combined a contextual analysis, the use of psychological theories and a comparative evaluation of the effects of such choices on the audience. It was awarded 36/36 by the IBO Examiners.
