Currently acting as a Business Technology Officer with focus on Corporate Technology Solutions and Advancements, contributing to targeted increase in the product and services portfolio with aim of 20% increase in annual turnover. Core responsibilities included:

• Business Strategy Formulation: Identified key areas in utilities and industry, determined appropriate technologies, and suggested business strategies. Identified new market product sectors and repositioned existing portfolio of services.
• Action Planning: Created detailed action plans, including use case preparation, SWOT analysis, and solutions shortlisting.

Manage a Business Unit while overseeing key projects. Successfully led and coordinated a diverse team of fourteen (14) professionals with varying roles and responsibilities. The Business Unit consistently contributed 30-35% of the company’s total revenue. Areas of focus and core responsibilities included:

• Meter Data Systems: Successfully designed, implemented, managed, and supported both small-scale and large-scale Meter Data Collection and Meter Data Management systems in virtualized environments, both for DSO’s and TSO’s handling over 1 million metering points.
• Smart Grid Technologies: Managed projects related to smart meters and Smart Grid specific services, improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Roll-Out Support: Provided crucial roll-out support services, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal functionality post-implementation.
• Asset and Workforce Management: Oversaw the successful implementation of asset and workforce management systems.
• Data Analytics & Integration: Implemented analytical models and focused reporting and delivered integration services to optimize business processes and decision making.
• System Operations and Training: Coordinated system operation activities and executed comprehensive training programs for team members and stakeholders.

• Project Management: Administered all project phases, encompassing requirement analysis, creation and evaluation of Scope of Work (SoW) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), risk assessment, and project execution. Managed change requests and the implementation of workarounds, leading to successful Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and System Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Communication with suppliers & associates: Achieved robust relationships with suppliers and associates in the local as well as international market, to meet business objectives.
• Executive Reporting: Routinely reported and communicated directly with the CEO, providing updates and insights on project status, strategic initiatives, and team performance.

In this role, assumed a wide range of responsibilities, ranging from designing and implementing metering systems, technical project management to offering training and providing system maintenance and operation support. In each of these roles ensured successful implementation and operation of essential metering systems. Areas of focus and core responsibilities included:

• AMR and MDM Solutions Design and Implementation: Spearheaded the design and implementation of a central Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) and Meter Data Management (MDM) system for DNO’s Medium Voltage Customers, AMR and MDM system for TSO and small-scale systems for OIL and GAS sector. This included OS and Database implementation and configuration, end customer portal integration, system interfacing with billing, and oversaw on-field installation of meters and communication units.
• Technical Project Management & Coordination: Acted as the technical project manager on key initiatives, Automatic Meter Reading and Data processing systems implementation while coordinating with technician units (over 25 technician unit teams) during rollouts and all involved personnel for optimal projects’ execution.
• Training: Provided relevant training to utility operators, administrators, and technicians responsible for field installation and maintenance services.
• System Maintenance and Operation Support: Oversaw contract management, routine maintenance of all system components, user support, administrative operation, and interface tuning, assuring the continuity of critical business processes, uninterrupted operations and fulfillment of core KPIs.
• System Operation & Maintenance: Led a team responsible for the core MDM application's operation and maintenance, including managing databases, applications, and the customer portal.
• SCADA Control Systems: Participated in the analysis and design of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) control systems.
