Three-year training in pathology as the initial part of the education for the pathology-oncology specialty. During that time a six-month training in hematology was also completed.

Serving as a rural doctor was mandatory in order to choose my final medical specialty.

I served at the health center of the village of Thermo but I was soon transferred to the hospital of Agrinio, at the emergency department unit. I completed my education as a rural doctor there, after 18 months.
