Three-year training in pathology as the initial part of the education for the pathology-oncology specialty. During that time a six-month training in hematology was also completed.
Serving as a rural doctor was mandatory in order to choose my final medical specialty.
I served at the health center of the village of Thermo but I was soon transferred to the hospital of Agrinio, at the emergency department unit. I completed my education as a rural doctor there, after 18 months.
Art serves as my "counterweight." It effectively relieves stress and keeps me motivated and creative. I have a deep appreciation for literature, including both classic and contemporary works, as well as art and music. I enjoy drawing cartoons, capturing aspects of nature, and creating portraits. Walking by the lake in Ioannina daily helps me clear my mind and provides some physical exercise.
